Abstract

This article of manufacture is directed to changeable tips and more specifically to changeable tips for caulking tubes. Additionally, changeable tips allow a user to select a particular tip for a specific caulking application. In general, a changeable caulking tube tip allows a user to select a specific tip for a desired purpose. The changeable tip is a plastic-type material internally threaded to allow tip to be secured onto caulking tube. Changeable tips include a large bead, a small bead, and a ribbon bead for different applications.

Article of manufacture of changeable caulking tube tips

This article of manufacture is directed to changeable tips and more specifically to changeable tips for caulking tubes. Additionally, changeable tips allow a user to select a particular tip for a specific caulking application. In general, a changeable caulking tube tip allows a user to select a specific tip for a desired purpose.

The changeable tip is a plastic-type material internally threaded to allow tip to be secured onto caulking tube. Changeable tips include a large bead, a small bead, and a ribbon bead for different applications.

Figure 1 shows caulking tube changeable tips 100 and includes, a large bead tip 130, a small bead tip 120, a ribbon bead tip 140, and internal tip threading 150. Caulking tube tip 110 is shown for clarity purposes. Large bead tip 130, small bead tip 120, and ribbon bead tip 140 are manufactured from conventional plastic type material into a conical shape similar to that shown in Figure 1. Additionally, opening on one end is fastened to caulking tube tip 110 using internal tip threading 150 (as shown) and opening on second end forms bead profile.
