Abstract

Small children enjoy bicycle rides, but many parents are concerned about the safety of bicycle trailers designed for children. In particular, parents are concerned about the safety of bicycle trailers if the trailer rolls over as the bicyclist takes a sharp turn. What is needed is a safer bicycle trailer for children. The present invention is an improved bicycle trailer 100 that includes a rollcage 110, as arranged in Figure 1. Rollcage 110 is preferably made from a hard material such as a metal alloy or carbon fiber.
