B. Provides for a larger lit area for a given over-all size.
C. Standardize lead placement and attachment.
D. Fully integrates the interconnect system for the LCD and el panel into one scheme, resulting in enhanced space utilization.

E. Eliminates multiple component handling and storage.
F. Facilitates automated packaging, ie. tape and reel.
G. Improves automated assemply capability of the completed component.
H. Improved cost effectiveness in the final component assembly. LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY WITH EL PANEL ATTACHED
