Abstract

This invention provides a position sensitive switch that can be used in h4AN DOWN radio applications. Current switches today use mercury trapped inside a chamber with two conducting probes. This device would eliminate the need for mercury. It would use a specially shaped cavity that under conditions of a tilt from center would cause an electrical open by 4 metallic sphere moving away from a spring loaded con&. (See drawing below).
