Abstract

Pager users most often wear their pagers clipped directly to their belt or an article of clothing. Alternately the pager may be secured in a carrycase which is like- wise worn. If the user prefers carrying their pager as described, and also wishes to carry writing accessories, it may be more convenient for them to carry these items along with their pager, instead of in a pocket, handbag, or briefcase.

PAGER AND CARRYCASE MOUNTED WRITING ACCESSORIE$

by C. A. Actor, and H. Wandt

The invention illustrated in Figure 1 provides a method to store a writing instrument within the pager beltclip. Some pager designs permit the same detacha-

ble clip to be used interchangeably with the pager or its canycase. This design therefore lends itself to an acces- sory approach where the user may select either the stand- ard beltclip or alternatively the beltclip containing the writing instrument.

The invention illustrated in Figure 2 provides a method to mount a writing instrument as well as a pad of paper within a pager wrycase. A possible derivative design would be to mouht the accessories within the pager housing in a similar ibanner.
