Autonomous HAVi test application

HAVi allows uploading of Java modules which can execute in a HAVi device by calling a Java API defined by HAVi. Normally, HAVi compliance testing only takes place by sending and receiving messages through the IEEE 1394 network. This does not make it possible to check whether the Java API is conforming to the standard.

To improve compliance testing it is proposed to build autonomous Java test applications, which are uploaded in the device to be tested, to check the Java API for compliance.
