  The purpose of this design is to provide a mech- anism or adaptable jig that can be installed to exist- ing manual rework jigs which can be used for encapsulated devices sealed in either "'W and/or "T4" configurations. With the 'XL" and "T4" man- ual rework jig capabilities, the manufacturing site has the flexibility to work on sealed reels with mini- mal effort to support retesting of devices, internal or customer requests for alternative reel packing con- figurations.

  Referring to Figure 3, in Design I, a simple adaptable "Bent/Curved" track is attached prior to existing elevated '"IX" track. The bent/curved "W

track configuration guides the device(s) through a 90 degree curve, pre-arranging the encapsulated devices in "T4" configuration before sliding onto existing elevated "T4" track which further guide devices into tube. The advantages are:

l No orientator and no complicated mechanism.

l Encapsulated devices fall under gravitation.

l Low cost.

l Easily adapt to current "T4" manual jig.
