  Privacy and information security is one of the most important issues for most of the people in today's technological society. Not being able to keep important information from falling to the hands of others can be costly or might result in an undesirable situation.

  With all kinds of electronic gadgets in the today's market which hold personal and business information, such as pagers, personal organizers, etc. it is very important for the owner of the data to keep it from falling in to other's hands.

  The HidelUnhide feature for pager gives the user the capability to hide some or all of his messages. This will not allow others to access the hidden information.

  In some pagers, messages are represented by symbols. For example a flashing triangle represents an unread message and a non flashing triangle represents a read message. Similarly, a hidden message can be represented by a symbol in the status screen, or not represented at all.

  HidelUnhide feature can be activated for each message individually or can be activated for all the messages at once. A hidden message can be represented by a special icon or can not be represented at all if the message does not exist.

  When a message is being read, the user can select to bock, Delete or Hide the message. This is done by pressing the mode key while the message is displayed on the screen, and then selecting the desired option by pressing t...
