Disclosed is a method for dual liquid crystal (LCD) flat-panel displays on a laptop computer. Benefits include improved functionality and improved usability.

Background

              Conventional configurations include:

1.      The host and audience are located adjacent to each other.

2.      The laptop must be rotated frequently so the host and audience can view the screen.

3.      The laptop display must be folded flat and a rotational display driver must be used so the audience can see the display.

4.      Gamers must use two computers connected across a network.

              Configuration 1 prevents direct eye contact and is not an ideal situation for a sales or presentation environment. Additionally, many gaming situations require players to hide their screens from the opposing player.

              Configuration 2 causes the need to continually rotate the laptop so both parties can view the information. This arrangement does not enable the audience or opposing game player full participation

              Configuration 3 is not ideal because the driver rotation must continually be changed so each participant can read the screen.  This arrangement does not enable dual participation.

Description
