Combination of headlight functions in a projective system

Known automotive halogen H4 headlight systems are either complex (dimple cap) or use two separate headlights for low- and high beam respectively. According to the invention, only one headlight system is used with two burners positioned at right angles with respect to each other in an own respective reflector. The system having an adapted knife-edge. The knife-edge acts as a knife for the low beam and as a reflector for the high beam.
