        � � � � � The conventional heatsink support jig requires specific designs for particular boards due to the following issues:

•        � � � � Different heatsink locations from product to product

        � � � � � Specific heatsink support jigs are required for specific products. Multiple heatsink support jigs in the production factory floor occupy expensive production floor space. Conventionally, these issues are solved by spending money to buy a heatsink jig for each product by having an extra cabinet to keep all the jigs and fixtures.�

        � � � � � The disclosed method is a universal heatsink support jig. This solution reduces the total number of heatsink support jigs in the production floor and the cost of buying a specific jig for each specific product. Multiple products and different heatsink locations can use a single jig and fixture. Less then 5 minutes are required to set up the jig for a new product build. An extra jig can be set up offline to reduce the downtime between production changes.
