Abstract

Disclosed is a system for a color optimizing process for visual playback equipment. The system collects information of a visual source and playback environment, such as an ID of DVD disc, machine types of DVD player and TV set. Then the system calculates or searches for a setup process for color optimized playback. Then each applicable device sets itself up, then a color optimized playback is realized. The system is especially effective with networked visual appliances and servers.
