    Disclosed is a device of leader pin holding on the leader pin picking feature of the Liner Tape-Open drive. The leader pin picking feature is equipped with low repulsion elastic material to hold a leader pin. This mechanism can achieve simple and reliable mechanism.

As shown in Fig 1, the leader pin picking feature is hooked shaped part. This part rotates and hooks a leader pin as shown in Fig 2 from step 1 to Step 3. A low repulsion elastic material on the leader pin picking feature holds the leader pin as shown in fig 2 at Step 3. Similar mechanism can be achievable by using the metal spring or plastic spring, etc. The difference between these springs and the low repulsion elastic material is that the leader pin does not get pressure from the low repulsion elastic material at the decompression of low repulsion elastic material during the hooking/unhooking motion of the leader pin. At the hooking motion of the leader pin, the low repulsion elastic material is compressed by the leader pin at step 2 in Fig. 2 and returns to the original shape at step 3. The low repulsion elastic material is characterized in that the returning motion from the compressed shape to the original shape is slow. So from step 2 to step 3, the leader pin does not get pressure from the low repulsion elastic material. In case of unhooking motion of the leader pin, the sequence is reverse of the hooking motion.
