A Lift Carrier For Computers Special Moving

Disclosed is a lift carrier for computer transort which is effective to attain safty and reliable
computer transport and reduce transport cost.

Normally, computer distributors transport computers to customer's computer room by
simple casters which required laborious and careful manual handling. The present lift carrier
features compactness, a shock absorption function and an openable cover.

The carrier has a soft-rubber plate under an iron plate on which a computer is placed,
providing a shock absorption function. The carrier also has an openable cover which is swingable
about a hinge-joint. When the cover is closed to a vertical position, it holds the computer
securely. When it is opened, it can act as a sloped bridge to transport the computer from the
carrier to a stepped or raised floor. This mechanism fascilitates transporting and reduces handling
time.

An elevating mechanism using oil pistons is provideto move the computer up and down.
