Disclosed is a voltage regulation system which purpose is to make FA(failure analisys) easier by control individual voltages at any locations. The figure below shows an example of block diagram this voltage reguration system. This system has 3 modes that can be switchable by setting registers, setting jumpers, or setting options such as SCSI Mode Select. Mode1:Supply norminal voltage regardless to input voltage.(This is default, and users usually use this mode)

Disclosed is a voltage regulation system which purpose is to make

locations.

The figure below shows an example of block diagram this voltage reguration
system.

This system has 3 modes that can be switchable by setting registers,
setting jumpers, or setting options such as SCSI Mode Select.

Mode1:Supply norminal voltage regardless to input voltage.(This is
default, and users usually use this mode)

Mode2:Supply +-5% or +-10% of norminal voltage regardless to input
voltage.

Mode3:Supply proportional voltage to input voltage.(ie. input voltage
becomes -10%, supply voltage becomes -10%)

On Mode3, it is achievable for flexible input voltage detection, i.e.
betwwen +3% through +7% of input voltage detects as +5%. over +7%
detects as +10%.

Followings is an example of flow how to set each mode in case of micro code
conntrol.

The advantage of this system is to help for failure analisys at several
location, and the cause of the failure can be found more ealier.

In a facility that input voltage is controllable(such as labartory or
manufacturing facility), mode 3 can be used.

In a facility that input voltage is not controllable(such as the case of
field failure analisys), mode 2 can be used.
