    Recently I have seen new technology at the drive-thru window at McDonald's, where as the order is placed a display shows the order.

Imagine being able to also place the order from a touch-screen kiosk. The kiosk can also have an intercom to communicate to the employees, if the customer has trouble with using the kiosk. There is already software and configurations that allow employees to place orders, this invention is the next step which can use the similar software and configuration to allow the customer place the order.

Scenario:
1. Customer drives next to the kiosk.
2. The kiosk says welcome and prompts the customer to choose a language.
3. Customer can choose for quick ordering (e.g. if the customer nows what they would like to order)

or navigational ordering (where the customers will be presented items by groups (e.g. chicken, salads, hamburger, ...)
3. A visual/textual menu appears and customers can choose for specials, value meals, kids meals, ...
4. The menus ask all the needed questions, e.g. what type drink, super-size the meal, special requests (ketchup only, no pickles,
...)

5. After customer selects all desired items a confirmation of all ordered items appear with the calculated cost.
6. Customer confirms order or makes changes to the order by adding more items or by selecting an item and deleting the item.
