"Manual" disconnect from the battery on portable devices.

If you disconnect the battery from the charging device once it is fully charged, you prevent heat and overcharging thereby extending

usable battery life, current systems do not allow this to be done conveniently My idea is to provide the ability to remove the battery from

the charging either through a manual switch ( disconnect ) from the system or to enhance the charging system such that based on some

defaults that the user can modify the battery once charged will not be charged again until it drops below a certain threshold (say half

charged).
