Abstract

A problem is disclosed in development phase for new microdrive that it takes much time to load actuator. The factor of this problem is the new material (butyl) outer crash stop. This outer crash stop is used to absorb unload shock of actuator more, but the material has much adhesive power. So, the actuator sticks to outer crash stop. This is the mechanism for this problem.

So, the actuator sticks to outer crash stop. This is the

To solve this problem, Ramp slope shape is changed as follows:

Rmap-BS has additional slope at contact point between actuator
and outer crash stop.

The parameters of this slope are determined by contact point and
the shape of merge
lip of HGA.

Especially, the angle depends on shape of merge lip.
The time to load actuator is shortened to use Ramp-BS, because
actuotor slides the
