Abstract

Disclosed is a packaging method for LCD Cell/Array, Color Filter, PDP Glass Panels. This packaging method consists of some Partition Groove parts. Glass Panel is inserted into slit space between each Partition Groove parts. Partition Groove parts hold glass surface to protect glass broken and dameges by preventing glass surface warp durring transportation. Partition Groove pats is adjustable to change slit space by sliding. This contributes for smooth insertion of Glass Panel. Most conventional packaging method for LCD Cell/Array, Color Filter, PDP Glass Panels is Forming Box or Forming Corner Pad which heve grooves to hold Glass panels. However they do not hold surface of Glass Panel. They hold edge part of Glass Panel. When these conventional method packaging falls down, Glass Panel are broken by drop shock. Also Glass Panels have surfane dameges or defects by Glass Panel surface warp during transportation or by rubing at glass insertion operation. This disclosed packaging method have position adjustable Partition Groove parts. When we insert Glass Panel, we can get enough slit space by slideing of these Partition Groove parts as shown in Figure 1.
