Trusted Third Party for Business Transaction Authentication

Disclosed is a system for establish mutual agreement of business between companies by using trusted

third party. The system guarantees the completion of any kinds of business transactions according to a

predefined agreement.

The system consists of:

1) a stable memory in which confirmation messages from the agreed companies are stored.

2) a protocol for the message exchange for the trusted third party.

3) an XML document that describes agreement between the companies.

The protocol is as follows:

(Suppose Company A and B exchange business data in XML format).

a) A (sender) sends a message M to B (receiver).

b) A send a message that guarantees the completion of the sending to a trusted third party (T).

c) B received the message M from A, and send a message that guarantees the completion

of the receiving to T.

4) When T receives the completion messages both from A and B, T stores the completion of

message exchange to the stable memory. At this moment, T guarantees a business transaction

(message exchange) is completed and agreed by A and B.

5) T sends a message that shows the completion of the transaction to A and B.
