Abstract

Disclosed is a device for enhancing cooling of wearable computer (PC). This device has 5 advantages. 1. High Cooling performance for wearable PC 2. Length adjustable for the person who uses wearable PC. 3. Collapsible while the wearable PC is not operated. 4. Thin and Smart 5. Highly reliable use and long life With them, the highest performance CPU can be used for mobile computer. The heat dissipation of high performance wearable PC may amount to that of notebook PC. On the other hand, the size of wearable PC is one third or one fourth of notebook PC. That means the room for cooling parts is not taken enough. Therefore, new cooling method for wearable PC is desired. Figure-1 shows the proposed thermal belt. Wearable PC (1) is attached to this belt (2).

for wearable PC is desired.

Figure-1 shows the proposed thermal belt. Wearable PC (1) is attached to this
belt (2).

This belt transfers the heat, which is dissipated by the wearable PC, to the
outside.

It contributes the cooling of the wearable PC.

Figure-2 shows the inside of the thermal belt. This is assembled by some metal
solids (3),
A solid is able to slide along another one. It brings the possibility of
length change, and then
the user is able to fit it on his waist (body) size. Besides, the belt may be
made collapsible
while the wearable PC is not operated. The cover and the material (4), which
block the heat
transfer into the user body, may be designed to be dividable or foldable into
compact form.
