Double Hinged Laptop Computer with Ergonomic Replicator Base

Disclosed is a mobile laptop computer with stationary docking
base with features that enhance the workplace ergonomics
ergonomics when used in a desktop setting.

The invention solves the problem of outfitting mobile employees
with computers, and providing a space-efficient and
cost-effective a ergonomically improved solution for stationary
office use.

  A company could provide the employee with a mobile PC (laptop),
with one or more replicator bases, for example one for home use
and one for office use. Or a replicator base could be provided
in a satellite office for visiting sales personnel, all of whom
have the same style of laptop.

No additional monitors would be required: the laptop screen is
visible in desktop use, and has the height and tilt adjustments
for good ergonomics.

The solution uses a double-hinged laptop, which allows
the keyboard, motherboard and drives section to flip
out of the way, flush onto the back of the display
section. See figure 1 below. It is then placed in the
replicator base which places the screen at an
appropriate height, and provides tilt and or height
adjust adjustment of the screen, while maintaining
access to the CD or floppy drive that are side mounted
in the laptop. the replicator base could contain
additional drives, hard files, etc. as desired.
