Abstract

Disclosed is a structure of an insertion type connector for inspection. From a cost reduction point of view, recently the connector for 3.5" HDD with AT interface has insertion structure to a raw card. If an insertion type connector has a structure which is developed for card inspection without using an inspection device, card inspectors are able to judge whether or not a card is correctly inserted into a connector.

Disclosed is a structure of an insertion type connector for inspection.
From a cost reduction point of view, recently the
connector for 3.5" HDD with AT interface has
insertion structure to a raw card. If an insertion
type connector has a structure which is developed
for card inspection without using an inspection
device, card inspectors are able to judge whether
or not a card is correctly inserted into a
connector.

Problem solved by the invention:

A raw card is inserted in an insertion type
connector, but all raw cards are not inserted
perfectly, some cards have a space between raw card
and the connector. Most of them are used without
problem , but some are not. Formerly card
inspectors judge if the space is permissible or not
by using the measurement jig.

Using the insertion type connector , the inspectors
are able to judge easily. As a result ,
measurement jig cost and inspection cost are
reduced , and inspection time becomes short .
Besides, using the connector, a PCB designer
unnecessary to make holes for connector position
fix on their card design, and then they can design
more freely.

How does the invention solve the problem:

Setting up the wall of the same size as a
permissible error in both ends of the part of the
connector, card inspectors watch the overlapping of
the edge part of the wall and raw card edge.
