Abstract

Disclosed is a metal shielding construction and fingertip combination provided in LCD flat monitor assembly. The LCD module is packed by shield frames at the front and rear side. The frames are overlapped and contacted each other at the edge. They have a lot of fingertips and snapping points to maintain shielding effectiveness and ground contact for EMC shielding. The pitch of fingertip, contact point between shield frames, is calculated by generating clock frequency and radiation noise range. The practical dimension of the pitch is just from 15 mm to 20 mm applicable on the shield edge. The LCD module packed by the shield is able to assemble firmly. Not only for EMC shielding but having enough strength to hold the back light tube or glass material in the LCD module. These shielding method is useful for LCD flat monitor or the other LCD provided equipment. 1 FRONT SHIELD (1)
