This shows power saving method of LCD panel module. This method is LCD panel refresh rate is changed related with battery gage value.

LCD panel power consumption can be save by reducing its refresh rate as you can see Fig.2. It is more effective in case of higher resolution panel.

For example, when battery gage shows 50% remaining battery charge, LCD module refresh rate is changed from 60Hz to 40Hz. Then total battery life time can be longer for 15 min. in SXGA+ panel case. See Fig.1.
