Abstract

Disclosed is the simple current limit circuit that utilize MOSFET nature characteristics. The figure shows basic schematics that consist of N channel MOSFET and constant voltage source By nature of MOSFET characteristic, the current from Drain(D) to Source(S of MOSFET is limited by constant voltage source. If the current is less than specified current limit, the MOSFET works as a low ohm resister. If the current exceed the specified current limit, the MOSFET works as a constant current device. existing current limit circuit that using current sense resister or other
current limit device such like PolySwitch.
