Abstract

A program is disclosed that Hard Disk Drive(HDD) of 2.5-inch-type(2.5") can be converted into that of 3.5-inch-type(3.5") for its usage. It is realized by use of special interface card and frame. 2.5"HDD and 3.5"HDD have respectively different form factor both in electrical and mechanical interfaces. So those two types of HDD's are not convertible each other. But the body of

Hard Disk Drive(HDD) of 3.5" HDD's form factor by use of 2.5" HDD's body

A program is disclosed that Hard Disk Drive(HDD) of 2.5-inch-type(2.5") can be converted

into that of 3.5-inch-type(3.5") for its usage. It is realized by use of special interface card

and frame.

2.5"HDD and 3.5"HDD have respectively different form factor both in electrical and mechanical interfaces. So those two types of HDD's are not convertible each other. But the body of
2.5"HDD can be wholly included in 3.5"HDD in its mechanical dimensions. Special electric circuit card with
3.5"HDD's interface connector, and attachment frame with form factor of 3.5"HDD convert the body of 2.5"HDD into a product of 3.5"HDD.
