Abstract

Disclosed is an e-commerce trading system which supports an offering creation for sellers based on predefined trading patterns for B2B e-marketplace. In the e-commerce trading system for products via networks, the system keeps trading data, such as negotiation history between buyers and sellers, and its details. Using the trading data, the system proposes offerings to sellers based on buyer's company data, its related trading patterns, and product data. In B2B marketplace, the number of trading is not many, so an approach, such as data mining, does not work effectively to help an offering creation to sellers. In this invention, predefined trading patterns are used to help an offering creation. Buyers start negotiations by selecting products or identifying requests at B2B e-marketplace in networks, wherein data of selection or identification is sent to sellers and kept in a system as trading data. The system shows an offering to sellers based on the trading data, buyer's information, its trading patterns, and product data. Sellers send a reply based on the offering presented by the system. This part of negotiations are repeated. After the decision process by buyers, a system makes an order. For examples, patterns for rights and prices can be predefined for digital contents, which are fit to e-marketplace. Digital contents have several rights associated with them. In addition, there are many conditions depending on regions, objectives to use, and the other characteristics, such as languages. In addition, combinations for these conditions are many, so it would not be good to put into a general product catalog. So based on business of buyer companies, a system provides matched patterns of rights and prices to sellers to create an offering. 1
