Abstract

Disclosed is new security structure of Notebook PC by using additional parts. This invention is to offer higher security for current Notebook PC. Kensington Lock is usually used for theft protection of notebook PC. But by destroying enclosure, notebook PC will be carried out by theft. In this case it is necessary to fix Kensington Lock to another portion of notePC. There is some idea to achieve this requirement. This additional parts is fixed for notebook and supply the hole for Kensington Lock. The shape like Fig.1. For this solution, it can be loosen screws. Therefore these screws should be tamper proof. But even in this case, notebook PC may be stolen by making special driver for tamper screw.

Disclosed is new security structure of Notebook PC by using additional parts.
This invention is to offer higher security for current Notebook PC.

Kensington Lock is usually used for theft protection of notebook PC. But by
destroying enclosure, notebook PC will be carried out by theft. In this case
it is necessary to fix Kensington Lock to another portion of notePC.

There is some idea to achieve this requirement.

This additional parts is fixed for notebook and supply the hole for Kensington
Lock. The shape like Fig.1. For this solution, it can be loosen screws.
Therefore these screws should be tamper proof. But even in this case, notebook
PC may be stolen by making special driver for tamper screw.

This invention consists of two parts A and B, and is shown in Fig.2. Notebook
PC have the hole for Kensington Lock by parts A and screw head is covered by
parts B. Both parts are fixed by the lock of Kensington. For this solution,
thief can not carry out without fatal damage of notebook PC. The section cut
drawing of the locking situation is shown in Fig.3.
