Abstract

This technology is uniqueness to use standard PC card area for RF card enable without any modification to card area. This technology provide 2 different ways to solve cable connection to RF card. One is to use relay cable between RF PC card and internal RF cable. And other is to connect antenna cable direct to the PC card. Especially RF portion for connection is very uniqueness. Cable routine is as follows. Once antenna cable route the outside of system unit along with PC card connector area then it connect to the RF PC card by coax cable connector or relays cable like attached picture. With this application without external antenna Antenna can be connected to RF PC card. If use relay cable there is another application capability. Such as Bluetooth card and another 802.11b RF card from different supplier. Previous design for RF integration was to use special RF card and special RF interface inside of PC system unit. In this case there is no way to remove and install standard RF card to system. And if they want to use another RF system then it needs to buy another system but our technology solve the this kind of problem. 1 2
