Abstract

The purpose of this invention idea was to make browsing a little easier and faster. According to this idea, a user could set aliases for the web sites that he/she visits frequently. It is true that the Internet users have "Book Marks" and history embedded in their browsers to go to different URLs. But according to my idea, they do not have to click on "Book Marks" button or look at the history to choose a URL to go to, they could simply go to the address box and type a small alias. For example, a user could set the character "C or c" for "www.cnn.com" and next time when they want to go to "www.cnn.com", all they have to do is to type the character "C or c" in the address box and the browser will load the CNN site. The idea is a little different from the "Book Marks" or history but it could have been faster. It could be implemented by as browser plug-in. According to the idea, a user could always change and existing alias as well add new aliases to the list.
