Envelop Dispenser

Disclosed is a mechanism for envelop dispensing. To dispense an envelop, there are some difficulties to pick up one envelop from hopper.

In a typical dispenser, it works only for fixed thickness envelop and need to re-adjust when thickness has changed because envelop picking mechanism needs to adjust issuing gate gap.

This invention offers no critical gap adjustment for various thickness envelop.

Stacked Envelop

In the above figure, lower stacked envelop will be fed to left side when roller rotates counterclockwise. An envelop passed through gap but others stopped by gap adjust plate. This gap adjustment is not so easy because the thickness of envelops are not same. Narrower gap causes feed jam and wider gap causes double envelop feed.

This invention reduces the required accuracy of adjustment on the envelop feed pass. The following is the invented mechanism.

Fig-2 shows bottom view and Fig-3 side view. A roller(R) placed under the stacked envelop. This roller will rotate both direction by motor(M) control.

Envelops(E) are stacked in hopper and weight (W) on the top of envelop to give some force to stacked envelops. P1 through P3 are components of hopper.
