Abstract

We disclose following structure for CPP GMR: Shield/Ta/CoFe/Ru/CoFe/CoxFe3-xO4/CoFe/Cu/CoFe/Ta/Shield The presence of Co-Ferrite in pinned layer improves GMR through specular scattering as well as helps in pinning through high coercively of Co-Ferrite layer.
