Personal global dictionary

Disclosed is a personal global dictionary program that would work with any web or desktop application and share a common dictionary file of known words.

The personal global dictionary would be a standalone application that would allow the user to highlight and spell check portions of text within any web or desktop application. The example below uses a magnifying glass to highlight the text. As the user moves the magnifying glass over the text, the :

1) pixels are converted to letters
2) letters are concatenated into words
3) words are checked against the dictionary of known words

All words within the magnifying glass are checked against a dictionary of known words and the spell check continues as expected. This process would include prompting the user for input whether or not suspicious words (marked in red below) should be added to the dictionary or verify it is misspelled.
