Magnetic-Head Slapping prevention during HSA/HDE Assembly process

··· Disclosed is an Assembly tooling for Magnetic Head slapping
prevention
during HDE/HSA assembly process.

The Figure shows the Head separator design, which is used during
a HSA
and HDE assembly process to keep heads facing each other apart.
Generally a large amount of G-shock applies to HSA by handling
and
machine motions during assembly process.

Heads slapping with the G-shock would damage magnetic heads.
This Head separator has a function of preventing head slapping
with
supporting HGA against these G-shock apply.

Each HGA on top and middle area near to Magnetic head likes
figure
were supported by comb of Head separator.

Magnetic head damage like head chipping is prevented by using
this
Head separator during G-shock applied to HSA on HSA/HDE assembly.
