Mapping method of userid and password for same user to set up single-sign-on system.

In order to realize the Single Sign On(SSO) operation in WEB portal system, which comprises client browser, newly installed portal server and existing back end application system , the following scenario can be considered.
1.Unifying user ID/Password in both portal server and back end application system, and keeping ID/Password data in both.
2.Mapping user ID/Password between in portal server and in back end application system, and keeping mapping data in portal server.

However, case 1 causes change of the user management system in the back end application system, which is generally difficult to change, and in case 2 risk for the user management system is increasing because all of ID/Password is kept in portal server which is close to unsecured internet side. This invention enables case 2 without such risk by using data encryption method , and as a result it can also realize SSO in the above portal system without change of user management system in existing back-end application system.
