Abstract

Method for accelerate application development using XML format application specification Disclosed is a scheme of XML(eXtensible Markup Language)-format application specifications which enable to generate the run time module of application, a test, test specifications automatically. The purpose of this Disclosed is to realize the following two items.

  Method for accelerate application development using XML format application specification Disclosed is a scheme of XML(eXtensible Markup Language)-format application specifications which enable to generate the run time module of application, a test, test specifications automatically.

The purpose of this Disclosed is to realize the following two items.  

1) To raise the productivity in system development by creating all required result things(a run time module, a test, test specifications) automatically, from the application specifications of one sheet.

2) To cut down the cost which maintains mutual adjustment of a run time module, a test, test specifications and application specifications which usually have each in a dependency.

By using XML for description of application specification, the contents of description are enabled to use from a program so that the
automatic processing of the specifications can be carried out. The contents described on application specifications are as follows.

  1) Combination of component which constitutes application, and flow of processing

2) Name, description of processing, and Input-and-Output data of each component

3) Restrictions on application execution

4) Illustration of execution operation
