Abstract

All hard drives have one head that runs up and down the platter making it very slow as a sector can only be read at every revolution , the old stile is make the drive spin faster my suggestion is place fixed heads strings in the system on 4 places that will read the data each point will be responsible for reading data at that point of the tract that is passes by so there is 4 points on the Hard Disk Drive's platter that data can be read the heads are stationary. Data will be read at every point making the drive a lot faster with a greater threw put of data. There is 2 options with data reading Option one

There is 2 options with data reading

Option one

The string in position 0 read data from track 0 , 4 , 8, 12.........
The string in position 90 read data from track 1 , 5 , 9 , 13 .........
The string in position 180 read data from track 2 , 6 , 10 ,14.........
The string in position 270 read data from track 3 , 7 , 11, 15.........

Possible problem if a head in the string goes faulty it will loos that track.

Option Two

The string in position 0 and 180 can read data from track 0 , 2 , 4 , 8.........
The string in position 90 and 270 can read data from track 1 , 3 , 5 , 7 ...........
