Disclosed is a mechanincal structure for Load/Unload mechanism HDD. This structure helps VCM power at load/Unload.

Fig 1 shows unload torque. Y axis is Actuator angle. 0deg is home position. The peak is at the point(around 8deg) that the slider takes off from the disk.

Fig2 shows new power assist torque curve. The peak is around 8deg that is the same point as unload torque peak.

Fig3 shows VCM magnet and actuator metal chip structure. This structure can generate new power assist curve.

Fig4 and Fig5 shows that the power assist torque helps to unload.
