Abstract

This article describes the impact dot print head which has film on its tip. This film has appropriate thickness to make appropriate head-gap. Formerly, in case of the print head assembling in the manufacturing line or print head change at the customer site, the worker had to adjust the head gap after head mounting using special gauges. But in case of the film attached print head, there is no need to use special gauge.
