Disclosed is a method for leading a user to URL with a certain specific function using an e-mail. This method uses the e-mail, which has URL with enciphered character sequence. And it can guide a user to specific pages certainly by few operations.

The outline of this method is shown in Fig.1. Here is an example "An Electronic Commerce store notifies "the term of point service is pressing for" to a user using e-mail.

1)Mail Server sends an e-mail to a user.

An e-mail has a URL with enciphered character sequence, with which Web Server can specify the user and screen.

2)The user accesses the URL.

The user accesses the URL using Web browser.
3)Web Server get a enciphered character sequence from URL(accessed by the user)
4)Web Server search DB with the enciphered character sequence, and get the USER-ID and next screen number.
5)Web Server redirects user's access to the login screen. The redirection point is decided by USER-ID and User-Agent information.
6)Web Server shows the user the login screen (which doesn't have USER-ID input column).
7)The user inputs the password.
8)Web Server authentificates the user, using USER-ID and password
9)Web Server redirects user's access to the next screen, using next screen number(which is included in URL).
10)Web Server shows the user the intended information.
