Abstract

The purpose of this IP is to provide more homogeneity throughout a mixing barrel with less residual material at the bottom, minimizing waste. The apparatus has two metal claws, vertically at the top and bottom to hold a barrel in place. The claws are adjustable, allowing barrels or containers of smaller sizes to be locked in place. The claws are connected to a vertical stem with a control box to adjust the speed the barrel turns, 90 degrees horizontally or 180 degrees vertically. The bottom claw is suspended from the ground to allow the barrel or container to be rotated.

The pivoting claws help to lock the barrel in place to avoid slippage. The claws are connected by retractable bars at each end which can be adjusted across and upwards/downwards to fit any size barrel or container up to 55 gallon standard barrel. The rotating stem is the driver behind swiveling the barrel horizontally or vertically. The stem is held in place by the support beam and base. The control box operates the speed and angle that the barrel is turned. The following figure (Figure 2) shows a front view of the apparatus while the barrel is horizontal at a stationary point in time.
