FAST CONNECTION FOR TELEPHONIC AUTOMATED MENU

Invention by: Mary Jo Keller

This invention seeks to solve the time consumption and inefficiency problems created by automatic menu systems. Complex telephonic menuing systems are frustrating and can be ambiguous, thereby resulting in acquiring the wrong call destination, further resulting in having to repeat the automated menu process.

This invention features a signal containing a grouping of "map" or "site" information that provides a list of the keys to the receiver when decoded by the receiver. The decoded information provides a list of the keys to the receiver that need to be sequentially activated in order to connect with the desired function or call destination. The information may be displayed to the user on an LED or similar display, either integrated into the phone set, or available as a separate unit.
