So the Picture Device Reader can decode the angle of each picture and auto-rotate the image on the fly.

Description:

1 - The problem with the memory stick reader is that it displays the digital picture the way it has been taken, which means that if you took the picture in a portrait format then you will have to:

a) Turn your head and hurt your neck

b) Rotate manually the picture on the computer/camera before showing it on the display

c) Use the non-user friendly rotation function provide on the memory stick reader software on the display device if any.

In addition, you will have to do that for every picture in your memory stick one by one since some will be landscape and some will portrait left or right. . .

2- To solve the problem, one could capture the rotation's angle of the camera at the moment the picture is taken and encode that angle with the picture itself, then the memory stick reader could simply decode the angle and auto-rotate the picture, while displaying it.
