Description of the Invention:

1.      I hate commercials. I despise them. I don't have to take it anymore. Commercial zappers exist that allow you to skip forward past commercials in recorded video, but not to zap live commercials. Since we're going to have to live with them, why not enjoy it.

2.      Using the remote control as a pointer/selector select graphic images from a palate then display them over the advertising's video.

Provide a user interface for binding graphic images or sequences to buttons on the remote. Provide a "Commercial Zapper" button on the remote. Once pressed, the bound buttons would be used to select graphic images or sequences. The up/down/right/left buttons would be used to position a pointer on the screen. On press of the numeric button would display the graphic image it was bound to at that location on the screen.

Possible uses include (but are not limited to):

-       The above mentioned tomatoes.

-       Bugs (or other creepy crawlies) crawling over the image.

-       Explode the selected image, with fragments splattering the screen. Capture the frame and flush it down a video toilette.
