Suggested Links

The disclosed system regards search engines and the ability to for search engine users to communicate with other search engine users regarding suggested links for a given search query. When one performs a search engine query, the user is returned a set of hits that the search engine finds to be relevant to the search terms provided by the user. In the disclosed system. enterprise users will log into a search engine. User IDs will be associated with the user's enterprise organization. People within the enterprise will be able to provide suggested links for given keywords that might be queried. Subsequently, when a user searches using a query, they will first be provided with their organization's suggested links. Following this subset, they will also be provided with links that would normally be returned by the search engine. The proposed system will require the cooperation of a search engine with a participating organization. Search engine companies could charge companies for use of the advanced service. In larger organizations, those who can provide suggested links for a given query might be a subset of users within an organization.
