Method for a wireless wearable mouse

Disclosed is a method for a wireless wearable mouse. Benefits include improved ergonomics.

Description

The disclosed method is a wearable mouse worn around the user’s hand by using a hook-and-loop fastening strap. The mouse roller and button are activated by rolling/pressing the marble on the left side of the mouse, which is in constant contact with the user’s thumb. The user can type as the mouse is operated.

Because the mouse uses wireless technology, no cables are attached to the strap that fits around the user’s hand. The user does not have to move her hands from the keyboard to reach for the mouse, providing potential ergonomic advantages as compared to conventional mouse devices (see Figures 1 and 2).

Advantages

Some implementations of the disclosed structure and method provide one or more of the following advantages:

•         Improved functionality due to enabling a user to utilize a mouse and keyboard at the same time
