Abstract

A process for injection blending of an external additive to electrostatographic toner particles~ The process comprises injecting a controlled amount of a dry powder additive under low pressure into a twin shell blender con-~ taming a pre~determined amount of toner particles, By injecting the additive material in this manner, agglomerates of the additive material are broken up as near to its actual particle size thereby creating higher particle mobility and uniform coating of individual toner particles.
