Abstract

To reduce the size, weight, and cost of an electrostatic copier, a single corona generating device may be used to effect two functions. On a two cycle copier, the photo~- receptor is charged by the device, exposed, and developed during the first cycle. During the second cycle, the device effects transfer of the developed image, and the photoreceptor is cleaned and discharged.
