Abstract

Fuser for copiers with cooperating pressure (1) and fusing (2) rolls between the nip of which the copy sheet (7) to be fused passes, A heat lamp pair (3) provide the source of heat to the fusing roll with a reflective housing (4) adjacent thereto to focus heat onto the fusing roll periphery~ The reflective material comprises a flexible foil such as aluminum supported upon supply (5) and take up (6) rolls to permit the reflective material to be changed when dirty by rolling the dirty material up onto the take up roll while dispensing fresh material from the supply roll, To facilitate changing of reflective material, a turnkey (9) is provided on the take- up roll, the key preferably being dimensioned to project outside the fuser for manual access,
